Name That Book Red Carpet Event
The Department of Library Services will announce the 2017-2018 K-2, 3-6, middle school, and high school Name That Book (NTB) title lists at the annual Red Carpet Event. The Barnes and Noble, 2030 West Gray (River Oaks Shopping Center) will be the site of the unveiling of the secondary lists (middle school and high school). The NTB contest serves to acquaint HISD students with classic literature as well as contemporary award-winning books., representing a variety of genres. The announcement is free and open to the public. Students, parents and faculty attending the event will have the opportunity to purchase great literature from the NTB lists and materials for summer reading.
Chick-fil-A Day: Pre-Order Today
Pin Oak Middle School’s first ever Chick-fil-A Lunch Day
is happening on May 15th. Cost is $5 per lunch order. You may pre-order online. You must place your order no later than Thursday, May 11th at noon.
We will accept pre-orders at school for cash on Tuesday, 5/9.
Each
lunch order consists of 1 chicken sandwich (pickles will be available on the
side), chips and a bottle of water. We cannot accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions with these lunch
orders. Thank you for your understanding.
